How To Use the Stamp a ma jig

How To Use the Stamp-a-ma-Jig

The Stamp-a-ma-Jig (SAMJ) is one of those accessories that once you use it, you will be "addicted" and use it all the time. It's easy once you get the hang of it--just follow these steps and you will be able to perfectly place stamped images exactly where you want them. These instructions show how to use with "2-step" images, however, it works great to place single images, such as "words," exactly where you want them!

Step 1: Stamp the 1st image where you want it on your cardstock--in this case, it's the "bold" part of the flower.

Step 2: Place the "clear plastic sheet" that comes with the SAMJ exactly in the corner of the SAMJ and then stamp the image you want to perfectly place also exactly in the corner of the plastic.

Step 3: Now place the plastic sheet over the image on your cardstock--place exactly where you want the stamped image to appear.

Step 4: Holding the plastic sheet in place, set the SAMJ so that the corners of the plastic sheet fit exactly into the corner--just like when you stamped the image on the sheet in step 2 above

.
Step 5: Carefully remove the plastic sheet, leaving the SAMJ in place.

Step 6: Stamp your image onto the cardstock--place the stamp exactly in the corner of the SAMJ, just like in step 2 above.

Image is perfectly placed where you want it!

Make sure to clean off the "plastic sheet" after each use so that you can use it over and over again!
