I was so excited when my order came in with the Beveled Window Panes . I have been wanting to try them out and now that I have I will be using them allot more!
By placing the window pane over the stamped image you accomplish a certain wow. It certainly pulls your eye right to it.
And these are so easy to add since there are small slits on each side to side a piece of ribbon thru. On this card I chose not to just thread it thru but to fold back the ribbon end and tie it off with some linen thread to add some additional dimension since I was using seam binding which is much thinner than ribbon.
In the close up here you can see the small slits and how well the windowpane makes the image just pop. Can you see the shimmer on the flowers? I used the Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink to add it. With the fine tip on the applicator I was able to apply it in a small amount in just the right spot.
