November Card Club Projects

Wow did we all have fun at this class.  The pop of Christmas tree was a super hit.  Cards with animation are always so much fun to make and even more fun to receive.

Here is the card that we did this month as our 'project' item.

The cute little band you see is what kept the tree a surprise.  Here is how it looks all sealed up.

Since we all learned how to make this wonderful tree I made the cards super easy but elegant.

For this first on I used the Tree Trimmings stamp set from the IB&C on page 28 and embossed it with Gold Embossing powder.  We then partnered it up with our Real Red cardstock and the flocked paper from the Christmas Cocoa Specialty Designer Series Paper to create this elegant holiday card.

This one super quite a surprise for everyone to learn how quick it was.  We the Scenic Season stamp set from page 35 of the IB&C which us embossed with Silver embossing powder, brushed a little bit of our ever so special Frost Shimmer Paint featured in the Holiday Mini Catalog on page 27 along the bottom to create our 'snow' effect.  Then the magic all happened when we place the Snowfall Printed Window Sheet over the top of the trees.  Doesn't that look like a peaceful winter day with soft snow falling.
Well this was the last club meeting for this year and I can't wait to see everyone again in January to share some of the items I've created with our new stamps coming out next month.  You are all just going to love them.
