This was a great hit with the ladies that attended the Special Effects Class last month. This technique certainly creates a simple note that still has that special touch feel.

This was made with a medium envelope. I sealed it up and then cut a small piece off of one end. Then I ran the larger end thru my crimper. Make sure to crimp in the right direction because that small piece that gets cut off slides over the larger piece and it will need to fit. Wasn't this just the coolest trick.
